A digraph is when two letters come together to make one sound. Some double sounds are spelled the same but sound different, like ‘oo’ (as in moon) and ‘oo’ (asin book). However, some double sounds sound the same but are spelled differently, like ‘ey’ (as in monkey) and ‘ee’ (as in bee).
