This interactive felt learning board has been designed to help children make the link between a first letter of a word and a corresponding image starting with that letter. The alphabet is represented in three ways: upper case letters, lower case letters and images beginning with each letter. This type of play increases a child's alphabet recognition and provides hands-on learning, all of which is required before a child can learn to read. As of Monday, 3 February, heavy rainfall and road closures continue to cause delivery delays across Far North Queensland. With weather conditions worsening over the weekend, the Bruce Highway remains closed in multiple locations.
As a result, our couriers are unable to transport freight into or out of Cairns and Townsville and for a minimum of the next 48 hours. We are monitoring the situation and will provide updates as they become available.
