Place of the Sting Ray was and still is a very important place to the Limestone Coast First Nations people who lived peacefully off the land and sea until the European settlers arrived. Ken explains how the resilience, bravery and survival skills of the Boandik people ensured that they remained in their country despite the pressure for them to be removed. This is a true survival story as told by John Livingstone Senior, an original 1850's settler.
